- Bloomberg Consensus: -0.2% m/m, -2.3% y/y; Prev (Aug): 0.4% m/m, -2.8% y/y. 
- After a rebound to 0.4% m/m in Aug, EZ IP is expected to decline again in Sep
with markets predicting a 0.2% downtick. 
- Since the beginning of the year monthly production revealed positive rates in
only three months while it fell in five. 
- Output (ex-construction) cooled m/m in 3 of the EZ's largest 4 economies in
Sep: Germany (-1.0%); Spain (-0.8%) and Italy (-0.4%), while French IP showed a
m/m gain of 0.3%. 
- The EZ manuf PMI remained in contraction territory for a sixth consecutive
month in Oct, indicating the second sharpest fall in the past 7 years. 
- The report further notes that Germany remained the source of weakness, however
Austria and Spain also recorded significant declines. 
- Meanwhile, the European Commission's ESI revealed a 75-month low for
industrial sentiment in Oct.
