OIL

In August, Iran's oil exports increased by 400 kbd m/m to reach 1.43 Mbd, resembling Q2's average exports.

  • Exports have risen but remain well below pre-sanction levels of 2.2 to 2.5 Mbd.
  • China has received 90% of year to date exports
  • 14.5 Mbbls in Iranian floating storage were discharged to China in August.
  • Kpler does not foresee any major upside for exports except for about 200 kbd in September and October due to seasonal refinery maintenance.
