Iraq Crude Oil Cost to India Fell in February

The cost of crude imports to India from Iraq dropped in February against competition from a steady flow of cheaper Russian cargoes.

  • The average price of crude from Iraq fell to 76.19$/bbl in February compared to 78.92$/bbl in January according to India’s ministry of commerce and industry.
  • Russian imports were marginally lower than January at 72.14$/bbl while crude imports from Saudi Arabia increase to 87.66$/bbl from 85.84$/bbl in January.
