Iraq Cuts Oil Exports to 3.3mn bpd: Energy Ministry

Iraq cut its oil exports to 3.3mn bpd as of August 27 and will keep the reduction during the coming months as part of commitments to the OPEC+ agreement the Iraqi oil ministry said.

  • Iraq's crude exports had averaged 3.48 million bpd in July and 3.41 million bpd in June.
  • Iraq had planned to reduce its oil output to between 3.85 million and 3.9 million bpd in September according to a Reuters source last month.
