EURO-YEN: It has been a slow start to the new trading day, the cross holding a
narrow Y130.51 to Y130.74 range. Nikkei opened lower by 0.4%, but has since
recovered some ground, currently down 0.3%. Light demand was noted into today's
Tokyo-fix lending support. Without a particular catalyst, further range-trading
looks likely. Support lies at Y130.47/46 (76.4% Y130.18-131.40, Aug3 low), while
resistance is found at Y130.82/93 (38.2%/50% fib Y131.40-Y130.46). Euro-yen is
currently hanging hands at Y130.73
