ITALY: Italy is currently debating rolling back upcoming rises in the pension
age, the 'Monti-Fornero reform'.
- From 2019 the planned retirement age is set increase by 5 months to reach 67

otherwise have retired in 2019. The Chamber of Deputies must now vote this
through.
- According to IP&E magazine, the Northern League wants to scrap the pension age
increase and Forza Italia wants to increase the State pension by E1000 per year.
