JGBS: JGB futures softened in afternoon trade, after the BoJ MonPol decision
lacked any notable dovish surprises. The Bank downgraded its view of exports,
industrial production & the global econ. outlook, as expected, but left its
overall view of the domestic econ. unchanged (contrary to some reports).
- Futures last trade 4 ticks lower on the day, yields across the curve sit
unchanged to a touch higher, with super-long yields back from their intraday
highs.
- Focus now moves to BOJ Governor Kuroda's press conference, due around 06:30
GMT.
