DOLLAR-YEN: JPY demand in early Europe allows USD/JPY to post fresh intraday
lows of Y109.04, with underlying risk aversion still seen evident. Support noted
into Y109.00, a break to expose recent lows of Y108.76/73. Early month-end
projections have suggested a strong signal for USD/JPY sales which could help to
cap recovery efforts into the end of the month/week. Focus today on the FOMC
announcement, with more interest seen on the accompanying Fed Powell press
conference.
