July Saudi Crude Exports Highest Since April 2020

July Saudi Arabia crude exports increase to the highest since April 2020 according to Bloomberg tanker tracker estimates.

  • Seaborne supplies of 7.5mbpd were observed in July compared to 6.6mbpd in June.
  • Saudi Arabia and OPEC+ are under pressure from US to increase production targets at the meeting which is taking place on Wed 3rd July. US President Biden said he expects more output from Saudi Arabia following his visit to the Middle East in July. Market expectation is that if any increase is agreed it is likely to be modest and gradual.
