Kazakh Oil, Condensate Output Fell In Jan, Crude Lags OPEC+ Quota

Kazakhstan reduced oil and gas condensate output to 1.87mbpd in January, down from 1.89mbpd in December, the country’s Oil and Gas Information and Analysis said.

  • Oil output, not including condensate, fell to 1.623mbpd in January, down from 1.625mbpd a month prior and below the country’s OPEC+ quota of 1.628mbpd for January according to Reuters calculation.
  • Separately, Kazakhstan will introduce a four-month ban on exports of some oil products by all means of transport from 18 Feb, the State Revenue Committee of the Finance Ministry said.
