Kazakhstan's Crude Output Recovering

Kazakhstan's daily oil and gas condensate output increased to 258,900t on Sunday, a level not seen for months due to planned and emergency outages at key oil fields. Volumes were boosted by the return of the Kashagan field late October.

• Previously, Kazakhstan produced 244,600t per day of oil and condensate on 5 November and 234,600t per day on 4 November.

• Kazakhstan's crude exports have been restricted by the outage of two mooring points at the Caspian Pipeline Consortium terminal in the Black Sea which exports most Kazakh crude.

• Two of three moorings at the CPC have been out of service since August because of damage to the tanks. Repairs are currently underway, as both tanks of the moorings will be replaced. The first tank has been removed on 29 October, a spokesperson for the facility said end October. Chevron expects CPC pipeline flows to return this month though no official announcement has been made for their return.

• Previously, the CPC moorings were expected to return on 15 October, a statement by the Energy Minister Bolat Akchulakov said.
