Kazakhstan Sent 55% Of Committed 2023 Crude Supplies to Germany

Kazakhstan has shipped 500,000t of crude oil to Germany so far this year, of the total 900,000t planned for this year, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said.

  • Kazakhstan is ready to increase oil supplies to Germany, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said on Thursday after talks with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Berlin.
  • The country is planning to supply 1.2mn tons of crude oil to Germany in 2024.
  • Earlier this week, Kazakhstan has signed an agreement with Russia’s Transneft to transport Kazak oil through Russia in 2024.
