familiar risk events. T-Notes last deal -0-04+ at 138-10+, with the yield curve
running a tad steeper in cash trade. Eurodollars last seen -0.5 to +1.0 tick
through the reds.
- JGB futures sit at 151.85, -20 ticks vs. settlement. Yields are generally
mixed, with 7s underperforming as the 5-10 Year area struggles. The main point
of note in Japan today is an auction of 30-Year JGBs.
- In Australia, YM -1.0 & XM -3.5. A steepening impetus plays out in cash trade,
with yields sitting 1.0-3.3bp higher across the curve. Bills trade unch. to -1
tick through the reds. The RBA refrained from bond purchases today. The focus is
now on Australia's trade balance & retail sales, due at the bottom of the hour.
