Local Curve Bear Steepens, 10Y Eyes 50% Fib

  • Local rates open slightly weaker this morning, having sold-off in yesterday's session in line with the broader EM space.
  • The curve closed +12.2-12.8bp bear steeper in 10-30Y yields while the 2Y lifted +3.8bp.
  • 10Y yields now trade 41bp above last Monday's levels – approaching the 50% Fib (9.452) of the 1 april-11 June range.
  • 2Y yields continue to drift towards March-April highs around 5.40-5.50.
