Bund futures last week defined a key near-term support at 172.89 just below the
recently highlighted support of 172.94, Apr 30 low. A bullish outlook remains in
place and while this support holds, attention is the May 4 high of 174.69. A
break of 174.69 would confirm a resumption of the uptrend and open 174.81, 61.8%
of the Mar 9 - 19 decline and 175.41, Mar 10 low. A clear break of support at
172.89 would be a concern for bulls.
