Credit standards little changed and loan demand mixed, ECB survey shows

MNI (LONDON) - Euro area credit standards were broadly unchanged at tight levels in Q2 2024, with firms' loan demand continuing to decline, albeit at a slower pace than in Q1, the ECB Bank Lending Survey showed.

However, loan demand for households picked up for the first time since 2022, despite a further modest net tightening of standards.
