MNI (BRUSSELS) - The European Commission sees "modest economic growth across the euro zone" and inflation at a level consistent with the ECB's 2% target, EU Commission Executive Vice President Valdis Dombrovskis said Monday, speaing just ten days ahead of The Commission's autumn economic forecasts.

"We see inflation clearly going down and right now it is already broadly consistent with the European Central Bank's target," he said.
