     LONDON (MNI) - After a day of mourning in the US for the late President
George HW Bush, Thursday comes back with a vengeance with US dominating the data
releases.
     The three key releases for Thursday are German October manufacturing orders
at 0700GMT, US final Q3 non-farm productivity at 1330GMT and, at the same time
in Canada, the October trade balance.
     Speaking early morning at 0730GMT is ECB Vice-President Luis De Guindos, in
Frankfurt.
     Manufacturing orders in Germany grew by 0.3% m/m in September. However, the
MNI median points to a 0.5% decline for October.
     In Q2, U.S. non-farm productivity was 2.2%. The MNI median points to this
rising 0.1pp to 2.3%.
     Canada's October trade balance is expected to show a widening of the trade
balance deficit from CAD0.4 bn to CAD0.9 bn.
     At 1335GMT is BOC Governor Stephen Poloz's speaks in Toronto.
     Atlanta Federal Reserve Bank President Raphael Bostic will deliver a speech
on the US Economic Outlook, in Atlanta, Georgia at 1715GMT.
     Speaking at 2330GMT is New York Federal Reserve Bank President John
Williams in a moderated discussion with Mervyn King in New York.
     Concluding the speeches at 2345GMT, Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell
speaks in Washington DC.
