Modest Pressure Creeps In

BONDS

Light pressure in U.S. Tsys perhaps linked to a downtick in YM in Australia, which came on the back of previously flagged 3-Year yield call change from Westpac's Bill Evans, with headline flow light in Asia thus far.

  • T-Notes tag a fresh session low on the move, but still hold to a narrow 0-05 range, last -0-00+ at 132-17, 0-01 off lows. The cash Tsy curve has seen some steepening, with 30s running 2.0bp cheaper on the day.
  • Over in Sydney, YM -2.0 and XM -2.0, with the former 1.0 off of the session lows that were hit on the back of the aforementioned Westpac call.
  • Modest upticks for e-minis and regional equity indices are also helping bonds lower.
