Monroe Trainer Refinery Set for 7 Week Turnaround from Saturday

Monroe Energy’s 185,000 bpd Trainer refinery in Pennsylvania will begin a shutting down for a turnaround on Saturday at midnight according to Reuters sources.

  • It is the largest turnaround at the plant in around a decade and will last approximately 7 weeks.
  • The refinery is geared towards jet production and other distillates.
  • The turnaround coincides with the 320,000 bpd Saint John refinery on the Canadian east coast, a key supplier of refined products – particularly gasoline- for the US East Coast.
