Montenegro Signs MoU With US Firms For LNG Terminal

The government of Montenegro has signed a MoU with two US firms to build an LNG import terminal in Bar, according to a social media post by the government.

  • The deal was signed with US firms Enerflex Energy Systems and Wethington Energy Innovation.
  • The project, upon completion of feasibility studies, is expected to be operational at the end of 2025.
  • The offloading pier would be able to handle 25,000 bbl/h and the storage facility would have an approximate capacity of 250,000 bbl.
