More Than Half German LNG from US

LNG

More than half of LNG imports in to Germany so far are from the US according to ICIS from ship-tracking data.

  • Since the start in mid-December 2022 cargos have come from US, Spain, Africa and Middle East.
  • Germany has three LNG terminals now open at Wilhelmshaven, Lubmin and Brunsbüttel. The latest terminal at Brunsbüttel is now entering a commissioning phase with gas supplies to the grid expected in early Feb.
