Moving lower again

STIR FUTURES
  • STIR futures are once again moving lower this morning with SONIA futures the biggest movers this morning (although this is purely because they were closed yesterday so are playing catch up). Part of the moves are likely to be a follow-on from a hawkish RBA overnight.
  • Moves this week have now been decent with the Eurodollar strip up to another 4 ticks lower this morning (up to 14 ticks lower so far this week), with SONIA futures are up to 9 ticks lower today. Euribor futures were a little higher at the front-end yesterday but are now down across the curve by up to 7 ticks.
