NBP Expects CPI Inflation To Decline In 2022

  • In their latest statement, NBP stipulate that even though CPI inflation is expected to remain above the central bank 3.5% upper tolerance band in the near term, inflationary pressures are expected to decrease in 2022 after the factors temporarily increasing price growth fade.
  • NBP will also continue its QE program and repeated that it may intervene on FX market.
  • The economic recovery in Poland will also depend on further developments of the Polish Zloty.
