NBP To Announce Monetary Policy Decision

POLAND
  • The NBP is universally expected to keep interest rates unchanged today. Below-forecast May CPI data, disinflationary structure of Q1 GDP, a stronger exchange rate and dovish comments from several MPC members have inspired the market to add rate-cut bets at the turn of the month. There is no fixed time for the announcement of the rate decision or for the release of the statement, but the central bank typically gives an early notice.
