BONDS: News flow in the first half of today's Asia-Pac session was rather thin,
with few data releases figuring on the docket.
- T-Notes last trade +0.01 at 122.06, with U.S. 10-Year cash Tsy yield last seen
at 2.686%, 0.7bp lower on the day. Eurodollar contracts are trading unch. to
+1.5 ticks higher through the reds.
- The Japanese FI space has drawn support from underperforming equities. JGB
futures finished the morning session +0.02 at 152.64, while cash yields trade
-0.4 to +0.2bp across the curve.
- Aussie bonds touched fresh session highs in the wake of softer than exp.
retail sales data, although a wider than expected AU trade surplus contained the
move, with futures trading away from best levels at writing. Yields trade -1.9
to +0.2bp, with some curve flattening apparent on the day. YM is unch with XM
+2.0 ticks, while YM/XM trades -2.0 ticks at 47.00. Bills trade unchanged to 1
tick lower through the reds (excluding IRH9).
