Norwegian Oil, Gas Production Recovered in July

Norway’s oil and natural gas production recovered last month with oil output rising to the highest level in four months, NPD data show.

  • Tota liquids production – including oil, NGL and condensate – stood at a daily average of 2.037mn barrels, around 1.4% below the forecast and slightly above last month’s level of 2.016mbpd.
  • July oil production stood at 1.82mbpd, slightly below its forecast of 1.84mbpd and slightly up from 1.818mbpd in June.
  • Natural gas output last month stood 10.5% below the forecast at 321.4mcm/d, up from 250.7mcm/d in June.
