US DATA: Nov CPI +0.4%, core CPI +0.1% (+0.117% unrounded), so the core 
was slightly below expectations for an index that is usually well 
forecasted. 
- The data support further gradual rate increases into 2018. 
- The y/y rate for headline CPI +2.2% vs +2.0% in Oct, while the y/y 
rate for core CPI slipped to +1.7% vs +1.8%, which was the high since 
April. 
- Energy prices were +3.9% for Nov after -1.0% in Oct, with 
gasoline prices +7.3%. CPI ex only energy +0.1%. Food prices flat. 
- Within the core, owners' equivalents rents +0.2%, lodging away from 
home -1.3%, medical care flat, new vehicles +0.3%, apparel -1.3%.
