KIWI: NZD/USD last sits at $0.6785, 16 pips better off, following comments re:
fiscal stimulus flowing from the Chinese FinMin. Kiwi modestly outperforms its
G10 peers at writing.
- Bulls keep an eye on $0.6799, which represents the 50-DMA. A breach of that
level would give them the green light for targeting the 21-DMA at $0.6814. On
the downside, initial focus falls on the 100-DMA at $0.6776 and a break below
would bring the lower 1.0% 10-DMA envelope at $0.6755 into play.
- NZ Q4 manufacturing data, due Friday, concludes NZ economic releases this
week.
