KIWI: NZD/USD was more hesitant to turn bid on the reports pointing to Italian
fiscal developments, and struggled to recover to unchanged levels, after coming
under pressure from broader risk aversion & AUD weakness earlier on.
- The rate last deals at $0.6580, after it breached technical support at $0.6573
in early dealing, registering a low of $0.6568 in the process. Bears will look
for a sustained break of these levels to open up the 17 September low ($0.6539),
with bears ultimately focusing on the YtD low ($0.6501). Initial resistance is
noted at Friday's high ($0.6640).
