KIWI
KIWI: NZDUSD last trades unchanged around 0.7270, with AUDNZD last at ~1.0590 as
the kiwi underperforms its Antipodean cousin in a relatively range bound session
for AUD & NZD.
- NZ's ANZ business confidence release ticked lower, although the survey's
activity outlook edged higher, with ANZ noting that "belying the headline
measures somewhat, all key activity indicators improved further, albeit while
remaining well off their cycle highs. Pricing indicators were broadly steady."
- NZDUSD bulls look for a close above 0.7315 to confirm a break of the falling
daily TL off Feb highs, with daily studies well placed for gains. Bears now look
for a close below the Mar 26 low of 0.7276 to shift focus back to 0.7126-51
where WMAs and the 100-DMA are located.
- AUDNZD looks heavy once again, with bears currently focusing on 1.0394-1.0491
where the bear channel base and LT rising TL off 2015 lows are located. Bulls
now need a close above 1.0652 to ease bearish pressure.
