  • A: One risk is that inflation risks are still to the upside... a risk high inflation will be prolonged, move even higher... we have to be in a position to address all the plausible outcomes.
  • A long expansion... is going to require price stability and that's going to require the Fed to tighten interest rate policy and get inflation back down to our 2% goal.
  • RE downside risks: "Covid is not over". Risks it can slow down growth; further problems in the supply chains could slow down activity, the situation in China... in addition what's going on in Eastern Europe and things like that.
