President Boric Approval Rating Slips Following Tax Reform Rejection

  • The latest Cadem survey published on Sunday showed a drop in President Gabriel Boric’s approval to 32% from 35% after two weeks of gains. The survey comes after Boric reorganized his cabinet for the second time in less than a year after lawmakers handed his administration a crushing defeat by rejecting its key tax reform proposal last week.
  • No data on the domestic docket this week so focus for local assets will be on US CPI. Next week, GDP and current account balance are scheduled. The next BCCh decision is due April 04.
