US TSY FLOWS: Rates weaker amid strong risk-on tone after better than expected
China financial data (exports surged 14.2% in March) spurred bid for global
equities, Bunds leading EGBs lower (10Y Bund yld highest since Mar 21). Equities
near recent highs (SPX +15.0 at 2906.75); US$ index reverses Thu's gains (DXY
-.305, 96.872).
- Overnight flow includes swap and retail acct buying short end, prop and real$
selling intermediates vs. leveraged acct buying 10s, swap-tied selling
intermediates.
- On tap for Friday: Import/export price index levels for March; April Michigan
sentiment index; GDP Nowcasts from the NY and St Louis Fed. Earnings season
resume, JP Morgan beat estimates earlier, Wells Fargo just missed.
- The 2-Yr yield is up 3.7bps at 2.3914%, 5-Yr is up 5.3bps at 2.3633%, 10-Yr is
up 4.7bps at 2.5435%, and 30-Yr is up 3.5bps at 2.9611%.
