  • German power imports last year rose to 67TWh, compared with 54.3TWh in 2023, while exports declined to 35.1TWh in 2024, compared with 39TWh a year earlier.
  • German day-ahead power prices last year declined to an average of €78.51/MWh, compared with €95.18/MWh the year before.
  • Negative priced hours rose to 457 in 2024, up from 301 hours in 2023, while prices spikes reduced.
