Russia Decision on Turkish Gas Hub to be Made in 2023

  • Russia and its partners may take decisions next year on creating a gas hub in Turkey, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Novak said in interview to Rossiya 24 TV channel cited by Bloomberg. “It’s about establishing a hub not only for Russian suppliers but also for other exporters, a market hub to create a pricing alternative to that on the Dutch and other platforms”, Novak said.

  • Data-wise, Turkey's tourism arrivals rose 44.64% y/y in November, up from +38.36% in October, according to the Culture & Tourism Ministry. There are no other economic releases left on the docket.
