Russian Crude Exports to Turkey on Track for Record-High

Russian crude oil exports to Turkey hit a record-high in November at over 400kbpd, following the recent supply deal with SOCAR’s Star refinery in Turkey according to Petro-Logistics via X.

  • LSEG data showed earlier this month, Turkey’s imports of Russian Urals rose to 800,000t during 1-15 November, up by 200,000t from the same time last month.
  • Turkey has been importing more cheap Russian barrels after its largest oil refinery STAR made a deal with Russia’s Lukoil for term supplies of the grade.
