Russian Diesel Exports From Primorsk Slow In Jan

Russian diesel-type fuel exports out of the port of Primorsk slowed down so far this month compared to December levels, Bloomberg port data show.

  • Exports from the port stood at an average of 344kbpd on 1-10 Dec, compared with an average of 429kbpd in Dec. December exports marked the highest on a b/d basis since February 2020.
  • Russia’s seaborne diesel exports are expected to rise in January, before the EU embargo on Russian refined products will come into place on 5 Feb. Shipments from the ports of Primorsk, Vzsotsk and Novorossiysk were anticipated to sure to 2.68mn t in January, up by 8% from December, according to industry data seen by Bloomberg.
