Selling Pressure Slows in 30Y Yields Around 10.80

  • SAGBs trade a fraction firmer at the open, having closed yesterday's session mixed to firmer.
  • The curve moved -2-3.7bp lower on the day in most tenors except for the 10Y which rose +3.8bp to hold a fraction above 10.60.
  • Support stands at 9.51 (23.6% fib) in the 10Y & 9.42 38.2% fib.
  • Meanwhile, 30Y yields struggled for upside traction around 10.80, with support at 10.692 & 10.612.
  • Pressure on SA's 5Y CDS also showed signs of easing yesterday after falling back below 210.
