G10 FX struggle for any momentum, as major crosses hold narrow ranges, awaiting fresh catalysts. U.S. market closure for Thanksgiving left the space with little in the way of initial impetus. JPY & CHF trade on a slightly firmer footing, as these safe haven currencies have benefitted from a degree of caution. AUD & CAD lag their G10 peers, GBP has also weakened a tad.

  • The PBoC fix fell in line with expectations, USD/CNH sits marginally shy of neutral levels.
  • Eyes move to Chinese industrial profits, flash French CPI & final French GDP, Swedish GDP & retail sales, Norwegian unemployment & EZ sentiment gauges, as well as comments from ECB's Schnabel & Panetta.
