GOLD
GOLD: Spot gold has stuck to a relatively tight range in early trade this week,
last up $3/oz at $1,296/oz, having little reaction to the latest round of
risk-on flows.
- Higher yields allowed the yellow metal to crack below $1,300/oz on Friday,
with a close below the 50-DMA & psychological level noted. Bears now look for an
extension below the January 21 low.
- Bulls need to regain $1,300/oz and the 50-DMA before setting their sights
higher.
