Stanjura To Discuss Pension Reform With Opposition Party, Cabinet Holds Weekly Meeting

  • Labour and Social Affairs Minister Zbynek Stanjura will meet with the right-wing opposition SPD party to discuss the controversial pension reform recently passed by parliament. The SPD and the main opposition ANO movement were trying to use filibuster to delay the adoption of the bill, but the ruling coalition resorted to emergency procedures which allow to fast-track parliamentary debate.
  • The Cabinet meets this morning, with ministers set to discuss investment incentives, Czech Post overhaul and changes to assistance for Ukrainian refugees.
