EURO-STERLING: Sterling has lost its post YouGov poll sparkle, which had seen
the cross make a show under Gbp0.8500, with rate having nudged its way back up
to Gbp0.8536 in slow European morning trade Friday. Resistance seen placed
toward the key 10-dma, which currently comes in at Gbp0.8552, a break and clear
to relieve current underlying bearish feel. Whilst rate holds below seen keeping
that bearish tone in place, though seen needing a clear below Gbp0.8500 to
expose the base of the 1.0% 10-dma envelope, which currently comes through at
Gbp0.8473. Pre Dec12 election polling remains the key driver in sterling pairs.
