DOLLAR-YEN: Strong demand for the USD in early NY trade allowed USD/JPY to make
a show above Y112.00, the rate marking a high of Y112.03 before sellers emerged
again to press it back through its NY open of Y111.87 to Y111.76 before it
settled around Y111.80. Asian trade have been suggesting that recent supply
interest seen from Japanese exporters ahead of next week's Golden Week holiday,
begins Apr29 through to May7. Resistance now seen from that Y112.03 high through
to the Apr17 YTD high of Y112.17. Support Y111.65, stronger into Y111.50.
