Tankers To Start Loading Oil At Ceyhan Port

The first tanker was given the green light to berth at the Ceyhan oil export terminal to load Iraqi crude oil, after bad weather prevented vessels from berthing earlier on Tuesday, ship tracking data from Reuters showed.

  • Earlier on Tuesday, Turkey announced to restart operations at the terminal, but bad weather had delayed operations.
  • Iraq's crude oil pipeline to Turkey's Ceyhan port was still halted and is scheduled to restart later on Tuesday, the Kurdistan Regional Government's energy ministry.
