FOREX: TECHS: A technical look across the FX space:
-AUDUSD gains have thus far stalled ahead of 0.6028 resistance, Mar 18 high.
This level needs to give way if we are to see a stronger bounce unfold. For now
the trend remains bearish.
- USDCAD probed its S/T key support at 1.4167 earlier touching a low of 1.4150
before bouncing. A clear break of the 1.4167/50 support zone is required to
signal scope for a deeper retracement.
- USDJPY is off the earlier lows of 109.34. The focus is on the key resistance
at 112.23, Feb 20 high.
- A strong bullish session in Cable today, something we haven't seen in a while.
1.2000 remains a key hurdle though for bulls and above this is resistance at
1.2130, Mar 18 high. Bulls still have some work to do.
- EURGBP is down sharply having yesterday cleared a key range top. It is
difficult to tell whether this is a reversal or correction. 0.9000 is under
pressure and there is a support just below this at 0.8985, Mar 16 low. The
20-day EMA is at 0.8851, a potentially important support area.
