AUSSIE BONDS: The AOFM announce the launch of new 0.75% Nov 2027 linker by
syndication, saying the inintial issue will be of benchmark size.
- Initial guidance is Sep 2025 linker + 9/5-12.5bp, currently equates to -179.5
to -176.5 basis points to the implied yield for the primary ten-year Treasury
Bond Futures contract (XMU7). Issue expected to price on Wed 23 Aug, to settle
on Thu 31 Aug.
- Citi, Deutsche Bank AG Sydney Branch, UBS AG Australia Branch and Westpac
Institutional Bank will act as Joint-Lead Managers for the issue.
- AOFM also announce a buyback of 1.00% Nov 2018 linker from holders at a real
yield of 0.03%. All offers for buyback will be accepted in full. If an investor
submits an order for the new 21 November 2027 linker that is not fully
allocated, that investor will be able to adjust the volume of any offer
accordingly. Buyback to settle on Thu 31 Aug.
