DOLLAR: The DXY further extends gains to 96.88 and seen approaching key
resistance from the 97 level, which also holds the ytd high at 96.98. A break
here would likely accelerate the move toward 97.87 which represents the longer
term 61.8% retracement of 103.82-88.25. Gold further extends declines, down +$10
on the session before basing around $1220 and the 100-dma. A close below here
changes the short-term outlook opening $1213.22 which represents the 50%
retracement of the October range.
