OIL: The major oil benchmarks were largely unchanged overnight, outside of a
brief blip lower, with WTI set to register a sixth consecutive weekly loss as
trade war worries hang over the space.
- Questions also continue to circle re: Chinese demand.
- Participants look to the latest Baker Hughes rig count, due later today.
- WTI bears eye the July 18 low ($66.29), with any breach opening a move to
uptrend support ($65.90). Bulls need a close above the Aug 03 low ($67.86) to
gain some breathing room.
