The major regional benchmarks once again.....>

STOCKS
STOCKS: The major regional benchmarks once again struggled for any clear
direction on Friday, with a focus on the ongoing U.S.-China trade talks and a
questionable global economic backdrop. The ASX's outperformance was driven by
the real estate and consumer discretionary sectors, which more than offset a
heavy session for the energy sector.
- Nikkei 225 -0.3%, Hang Seng -0.3%, CSI 300 -0.1%, ASX 200 +0.5%.
- U.S. equity index futures edged lower on the back of negative lead from the
U.S. session.
- S&P 500 -2, DJIA -15, NASDAQ 100 -8.
